TO AGRA
Agra is a
very charming city, covering a wide landscape and major areas engraved with
wonderful monuments built in the dynasty of Mughal emperors, everlasting
monuments built in the 17th century spread on all sides. TAJMAHAL, the 6th
wonder of the world is situated in the basin of Yamuna.
Do you
know how many years took to complete the world-famous love icon TAJMAHAL. It
took around 20 years to complete the mahal and 20000 workers were put their
efforts day and night to complete the beautiful monument. There were 1000 elephants to transport materials. This monument is
completely built with Marble.
The
charm of TAJMAHAL after having passed nearly five decades is still there.
It has
been proved over the years that the love of great emperor Shajahan with his
wife Mumtas is never ending as it is evident from the existence of the
Tajmahal.
It is
kept as a treasure without lossing its niche and glory all these years is very
big leap and is an excellent example of exemplary architectural potent.
After
its inception in the 17th century have proved beyond doubt that the nostalgic
monument TAJMAHAL has never step down
from its current status and there was no other monument to give it a tough
competition has proved down the years.
Shahjahan,
the Mugal emperor is to be acclaimed for his talent and fostering mentality and the pains he took to complete the mahal in time. An ordinary man cannot do this but only a person who is having great will power and substantial amount of motivation only will be able to meet the targets within the prescribed time limit.
He has
done a wonderful job for the tourists from all over the world, who are visiting
the monument regularly to enjoy their leisure time inside this invaluable
monument.
There
is no negative thought about his love towards his Begum Mumtas but he has been the one and only
to build the everlasting sumptuous monument in the greeting memory of his wife
which will last till centuries.
Entry
to the Monument: Those visiting monument will have to obtain a
ticket online before proceeding and took a Car from Delhi on reaching Delhi,
proceed directly to Agra from Delhi the taxi rent will vary from Rs. 4500/- to
Rs.10000/- for same day journey for four member family. According to the
vehicle the taxi rent will carry.
The
taxi will take you to the outside gate of the monument where outside vehicle
parking is available on reasonable rates.
No
entry inside the monument for outside vehicle. One small bus will pick you up
after entering into the gate. You can hire a guide on cheap rates but only
thing is you want to be patient hear the stories of olden days. Otherwise it ok
to have a professional guide.
Inside the Monument:
Inside
the monument you will get a lot of tourists busy in taking snaps of the
monument by standing in front and enjoying the great monument.
To
enter the monument and to see the gallery a separate ticket is needed, I took
only the gate entry ticket you will have to spent around Rs.800/- per head to
take round of the monument from inside and to enjoy the galleries.
Footwear
to be removed and they will provide a foot cover prepared with soft cloth to
avoid damages to the flooring.
